Essay1-01: My Treasures

I began to write my essay. It is about “My treasure”. I think that I don’t have a special treasure so this is very hard work. But I try to write! I have three treasures. These are very commonplace things.

My first treasure is my dog. It is named King and now he is maybe 13 years old. He is a very old dog. He always sleeps all day, every day. I am jealous because I would like to sleep like he. But I think that he is very boring too. I tell you about him. He came to my house, when I was 7 years old. I wanted a pet so I was very happy then. He was very smelly and too active. Some time after he arrived something happened and he ran away from the animal hospital. I didn’t find him for three days. I was very afraid that he had died. But after 3 days some kind person found him and took him to the animal hospital. He retuned. When I took a walk with him, he was bit by a big dog near my house. I was very surprised and confused. He bled then. This was not fun, it was very sad. He had an operation. He recovered. I think his life is very hard! But now he is fine so he has no problems.

My second treasure is a photo album. This is not just any photo album. My friends gave it to me on my 19th birthday. My friends and I went to a restaurant on my birthday. I didn’t know that my friends were ready to surprise me with a present. I was surprised and impressed! My friends became happy then. We were drinking and eating good food and having nice drinks with a cozy ambience. The day is my treasure so the photo album make me remember it and feel be happy.

My third treasure is easy. Maybe, you also have it! That’s friends! I think that I have many friends. They are very kind and very fun and are also my club members too! When after our practice, we go to lunch or play place. For example, in the summer we went to sea to swim and did BBQ at the house of club member. Sometimes, we have a drink party at someone’s home. The party is very fun. I would to do the party soon! At the holiday, we go to drive to Aso or the other places. I have a lot of good memories. I love my friends. They are my treasure!

My other classes

This year, I became in the three grade student so I don’t have many classed. I started my new semester classes last week. I have class every day without Friday. I have to go school in the morning because I got first class. I like getting up early but I can’t do every time. Some time I over slept and I late my class. I don’t remember my class room because many class room is changed! In the morning I have to go 11building but I went to 4 building. I had three times such liked this in the week. I have to recognize my class room as possible as I can.

How I study English

I think that how I study English? I don’t like study. I have a desk for study or working but it is very dirty and there are many pieces of luggage. I can’t see desk top. I have to clean but I think that I don’t use. But I would be good at English. Last summer, I went to MN. This is very good experience for me and I thought I should study more and more because I have to speak in English when I would talk with my host mother. I would talk more. But I returned to Japan, I don’t have to speak in English because there isn’t foreigner around me. I think if you would really study English, you should go to foreign countries.

Eating hobbies

I like eating so when I have free time in my home, I look for food. I like snack but chocolate is the best for my taste. My friends stop eating too much chocolate to me. I love chocolate so I can’t and I wouldn’t stop eating chocolate! When I went to MN, my host mother named me “chocolateholic”. After dinner, we eat ice cream then my host mother asked me “which do you want to eat chocolate or vanilla?” I answered chocolate every time. I like the name! Today, Mr. Tomei tells us chocolate was discovered in monkey’s doo-doo. I was surprised! It is dirty but now, chocolate is safety for us so I never stop eating chocolate forever!

Golden Week Plane

I am looking forward to coming my Golden Week. Last year, I was very busy and very tired because I had my practice of my club and my part time job. I went to school and my work place every day! I would go to trip this year. My parent will go to Tottori. They will see a sand hill in Tottori. They asked me “Will you come with us?” I would go with them. But I think that I have to go my practice and part time. My part time job is Izakaya. This is like a restaurant so I will be very busy at weekend and holiday! if I can, I would be free from every things.

BR1-05: ENGLAND

Do you know about England? I learn about English history. English history is very old. English is from England. England is very old country and there were “Anglo-Saxons”. This is old folk. When I read this book, I think that I would go to England very much. There is many beautiful place and sports are very famous in England. For example, soccer and tennis are. Soccer has Manchester United. My friend love this team and he always talk about it. Tennis has Wimbledon. My parents like tennis so they watched Wimbledon games in the season. I like Mr. Bean. He is from England and also James Bond 007. He is very handsome! There are much nature but fashion is the most advanced! England is nice!!

London is old city. When I was high school student, I studied about world history. I liked this class and I was called “master of world history”. I read this book enjoying. How do you think about London first? I think that London subways. The subway is good if you want quick and easy way to get to different places. My idea is true! But a London bus is famous. Its color is always red and taxis are always black. I think that London is colorful town. Recently, I got a marry news of a Prince William and his new wife. He is handsome and she is very beautiful. I hope their life is happy and to be continued forever.

BR1-03: FLIGHT

When I was little girl, I listened to song of Icarus. Then I thought about he is stupid and why his wings burned. I think that this song was made by God! And he doesn’t would man to fly but now many people can fly easy. I learned about history of flight from this book. Many people tried to fly but it is difficult and some people died. First man to fly is George Cayley. He made glider. Now glider is such like sports. The plane was made by the Wright brothers. They made many planes and tried many times. But in history, planes were used for war. This is very sad. The planes had many bombers and dropped and many people died. But I think that air plane is not bad!

Have you ever heard Titanic? When I was a child, I watched this movie. I thought this is not real all of story and sad story. But my idea is not true. Titanic was the best ship in over the world. The ship is very big and beautiful and too much rich. I would to get Titanic very much. I don’t know that ship is “she” in the book. How do you? Titanic doesn’t have plenty of lifeboats so many people died. In the movie, many people died. Leonardo di Caprio acted poor boy. I was very sad, when he is dying scene. Maybe, he dropped in the sea because he helped a woman. I think that Titanic is not just Romance movie.

I read the book. This is about Washington D.C. Before I read this book, I knew about Washington D.C. a little. Washington D.C is capital of America. And this name is from George Washington. I learned The White House is in the city! The White House is very too big. I watched the oval office in television but I didn’t know that the oval office is in The White House. I heard about The White House’s a dreadful story. There is ghost! The ghost is President Abraham Lincoln! How do you think? I was interested in shopping building in Washington D.C. There are many good places for shopping. I want to go there and enjoying shopping. Last summer, I went to MN. There is American mall. This is the biggest maul in America! I had a good time at that time but the mall is too big so I was very tired! If I have a chance I want to go Washington D.C.

Essay1; Dear My Host Family

Hello, my name is Yui. I’m a KGU student. This college is in Kumamoto. Do you know Kumamoto? Kumamoto is small than any other prefectures but there are many famous places! Kumamoto castle is one of the famous places. This was made by Kiyomasa Katou in 1601-1607. It is very big and beautiful so I proud of this castle. I want to teach you more details about this. Kumamoto Gakuen university is very big school but the school is not so big in area. There are many people and they are student and teacher and else. I like my school because I have many friends and good teachers. Would you teach me about you and your town?

I’m excited about staying with you. I am planning.

The first week, I would go to many places which you like. And places teach me American culture. For example, the eating habits of the Americans, a way of taking a bus or train and playing tips. I want to search American culture and English.

The next week I would go to many places which I want to go. I want to go baseball stadium and cheer for Matui and Ichiro. Have you ever heard them? They are very famous and great baseball player in Japan. If I went to New York, I would see the State of Liberty. Last year, I studied about the State of Liberty! So I want to see very much!

The third week I would go ice cream shop. I have heard that American ice cream is world’s best tasting ice cream!! So I’ll research this by eating. And I’ll rank them according to my taste! But I have to be careful my weight! I don’t be fat.

The fourth week I want to go some place by myself. And I will talk about my experiences on my travels to you and then I would to sit in a happy circle. I think that this time is very good for my learning English and American culture.

The fifth week I will take you my favorite shop which I found. If there are Japanese shops, I’ll take you there at any cost! Then I’ll introduce Japanese culture.

Last week I’ll make photo book. Photo book is my memory of our life. I think that I took many pictures in our life so I can use many pictures for my photo book. I want to make big photo book because I am greed and I don’t forget my memory in America.
